How to get Epic class code? ›

When you log into Epic School, you can find your class code on the left-hand side of your dashboard. To get a new class code: Login to your educator dashboard. Go to your class roster.

Do I need a credit or debit card for remote access to Epic? No payment card is required to sign up for the free remote access to Epic, just an email address. Please make sure you use the invitation sent by your scholar's teacher for Remote Student Access to use the full program during remote learning.

If your child's teacher is using Epic at school, you can log in to use Epic for free from 7am to 3pm local time, M-F, using the class code from your teacher.

You can even have multiple teacher accounts/classes on one app! If you already have your students in Google Classroom, you can connect the two! This will save you some time adding your students into Epic.

Locating your Epic Account ID in Fortnite

Select the ACCOUNT AND PRIVACY tab. Hover on EPIC ACCOUNT ID. Your Epic account ID will appear on the right.

The new hours of availability are 7 a.m.–3 p.m. local time, Monday–Friday. Epic School will continue to be 100% free to use in your classroom and we will support your reading and learning goals. Please use your class code to access Epic School during days when school is in-person.

If you want to maintain access to Epic all summer, you must first sign up for Remote Student Access (this is the same level of access you have through Clever). On July 1, Epic will transition you to "Epic Free" for the rest of the summer.

Can you read books for free on Epic? ›

Epic Free allows 2 hours weekly reading in Epic's limited library for free. No credit card required.

Epic Reader is available for a monthly subscription fee of $9.99 or an annual fee of $71.99. Each subscription caters to up to four child accounts.

Excellent classroom tool for readers of all levels

I think Epic is an excellent tool for readers of all ability levels. It takes some time to learn how to navigate the product properly, but once you have that figured out, all is well. I wish I had the money to pay for my students to use this at home as well.

Epic! uses reading levels and age markers as ways to help find titles for students to read. This not only helps in the setting of work, by teachers, but also in the tracking of student progress through the varying levels.

From the classes screen (select classes from the menu or home screen), locate your class code. The class code can be shared with students, who will then enter the class code to enroll themselves in the class.

If you are experiencing issues signing-in with your class code during the weekday between 7am-3pm your local time, please see the following: Confirm your class code from your Dashboard tab. Uninstall and reinstall the Epic app from your tablet OR clear your browser's cache/cookies if you're using the website.
