Sarah is trapped in this cage, where she also gives birth to her and Don's children. She also makes several attempts to be freed, but eventually fails.
Myers takes on the role of Marie, one of Sarah's children, who is raised in the basem*nt and, at some point, also suffers asthmatic problems due to the claustrophobic four walls. But Don obviously ignores her daughters' problems and refuses to aid them until Marie's condition gets worse, and Sarah begs him to take her to the hospital. In the real-life story, the girl's name was Elisabeth Fritzl, who was locked for 24 years in the basem*nt and was raped by her cruel father. The case opened up in 2008, when Elisabeth informed the police about her father's heinous crime.
5 A Taste of Christmas (2020)
Telefilms were at their peak during the 1980s and 1990s, but today they are declining due to the rise of streaming services, where content is available for audiences to binge at anytime. Released in 2020, A Taste of Christmas is also a modern TV film offering a compelling story, positive themes, and interesting characters. This holiday season movie is about Francesca (Nia Vardalos), who is looking forward to canceling her Italian restaurant's opening on Christmas until her cousin Natalie (Annie Krueger) comes to her rescue. With a "we can do it" attitude, Natalie encourages her cousin and pessimistic chef Stefano (Gilles Marini) to prepare for the opening ceremony, even if there is less time in hand.
The hard work and optimism pay off, when the restaurant starts attracting customers on Christmas day. Also, in a journey to make the business successful, a love blossoms between Natalie and Stefano. Myers has a small role in this feel-good film.
4 The Baker and The Beauty (2020)
Based on the novel of the same name and adapted from the famous Israeli show, The Baker and the Beauty is an American TV series about a baker named Daniel Garcia (Victor Rasuk), whose life changes when he meets Noa (Nathalie Kelly), a wealthy and international supermodel. In the "Pilot" episode, he gets dumped by his girlfriend, and Noa, too, comes out of a high-profile relationship — does that mean two people from completely opposite backgrounds have a shot at falling in love?
Myers portrays the minor role of Stephanie, who only appears in the first episode of the series. Even after receiving good reviews from critics, the series didn't get a second season due to its low ratings on ABC. Dead of Night revolves around a zombie apocalypse, which isn't a new premise, but it is uniquely shot, has short episodes (less than 10 minutes), and offers you a gripping story from a social media point of view. The characters don't interact in-person, but rather send Snaps to one another and give updates about the happenings in their surroundings. Directed by Jeffrey A. Smith, Southern Gospel is about a 1960s rockstar named Samuel Allen (Max Ehrich), who, even after being the son of a pastor, lacks faith in God. However, the death of a close one serves as an eye-opener for him to restore his religious beliefs and follow a path of forgiveness. After the drug charges against him are dropped, he starts educating the people in school and church about drugs' harmful nature. Samuel suffers from self-doubt and internal conflicts, but still embarks on a journey to become a preacher and is tested at every point in the film.
Myers brings to life Angie Blackburn, who has an outgoing personality and is a friend of Samuel. She likes him, but Samuel has fallen for someone else (Julie) and dreamed of making her his wife in the future.
1 Wednesday (2022)
Created by Tim Burton, Wednesday became one of the biggest hits on Netflix, garnered billions of hours of viewership, and received immense love from fans worldwide. The series is about the renowned member of the Addams Family called Wednesday, the elder sister of Pugsley and daughter of Morticia and Gomez, who is well known for her death stares, gloomy persona, enigmatic nature, and sarcasm.
After taking revenge on the boys who bullied her brother, Wednesday is expelled from the school, and her mom chooses to send her to Nevermore Academy, made specially for outcasts like her. She comes across Enid Sinclair (Myers), who is a late-bloomer werewolf and her roommate-turned-best friend. Enid is bubbly, talkative, loves gossip, and likes social media. Even though her and Wednesday's personalities are poles apart, they always stuck together, respected each other's boundaries, and gave us friendship goals.

As of now, Myers has three upcoming projects lined up: two TV series and one film. She will be reprising her role as Enid Sinclair in the second season of Wednesday; a fixed release date hasn't been revealed by Netflix. The series will bring back the known faces of Season 1, which include Ortega, Hunter Doohan, Joy Sunday, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Isaac Ordonez, Fred Armisen, and Victor Dorobantu. Also, this particular season will introduce a new member of the Addams Family, and Ortega wishes it to be cousin It, whereas other cast members would like to meet Wednesday's grandmother (via Netflix).
Myers will also be a part of another Netflix project, Family Leave, based on Amy Krouse Rosenthal's book, called Bedtime for Mommy, which will star Jennifer Garner and Ed Helms in lead roles. The film is about four members of the Walker family who get body-swapped and will get to experience what it's like to be in each other's shoes on a busy day. In order to get back to their normal selves, they have to learn and understand each other. Myers will portray the role of the daughter of Walker family.
Good Posture director Dolly Wells brings the book-to-screen adaptation of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, which is currently in its production phase. Myers will be playing the lead role of Pippa Fitz Amobi. The story revolves around Andie, whom everyone in the town believes was murdered by her boyfriend Sal, except Pippa, who thinks it's someone else and is focused on finding the real culprit. The BBC series' release date is not yet announced.
